Family to Family Adoptions, Inc. was founded by Maxine L. Seiler who is an advocate for single parents in adoption. Maxine founded this agency with the express hope that she would be able to broaden access to potential good parents who had formerly been left out of the process by some agencies. That would include people who were a little older than the norm, people with perceived disabilities, people who had an unconventional religious affiliation, the Gay and Lesbian population and single parents.
At our Tenth Year anniversary, we are proud to report that a full 6% of our placements have been with single men and women.
We welcome all prospective adoptive parents regardless of age, race, religion, sexual orientation or marital status. Our prospective adoptive pool includes heterosexual couples, same sex couples and single parents.
