Family 2 Family

by Tiffany C.,
April 23, 2007

I ended up pregnant
At the age of 18
If I can’t take care of myself
How am I going to raise another human being

I thought about my options
And what I was going to do
I thought for a long while
And that is when I found you

I dealt with all my family
And the people talking mess
But the day I called you
It was an instant relief of stress

I knew it wouldn’t be easy
The thing I was about to do
I was going to put my baby with another family
But the question was, “with who”

With you guys that wasn’t a problem
You helped me with through it all
And if I ever needed anything
All I had to do was call

Thank you guys for everything
You all hold a special place in my heart
And the service your provide to girls like me
Is truly a work of art

A Mother’s Love, by J. B.

Sunday April 08

A mother’s love knows no boundaries of space or time.
A mother’s love knows no beginning or end.
A mother’s love knows not of jealousy or hatred.
A mother’s love knows not of abuse or neglect.

A mother’s love is everlasting through all no matter what is done.
A mother’s love is forever enduring, a rock that stands through each storm.
A mother’s love is pure as a newborns first breath.
A mother’s love is as clean as fresh white satin on a bride’s wedding day.

A mother’s love knows no pain or illness.
A mother’s love knows no malice or murder.
A mother’s love knows no fraud or theft.
A mother’s love knows not of the evil of Satan.

A mother’s love is forever learning.
A mother’s love is forever teaching.
A mother’s love is forever protecting.
A mother’s love is forever providing.

A mother’s love is enduring the good and bad.
A mother’s love is enduring the laughter and the tears.
A mother’s love is enduring the rich and the poor.
A mother’s love is enduring all that life can bring.

A mother’s love is in her heart.
A mother’s love is in her soul.
A mother’s love is in her eyes.
A mother’s love is in her touch.

A mother’s love shines brighter than the summer sun.
A mother’s love illuminates and radiates from her smile.
A mother’s love glistens like fresh dew on a summer rose.
A mother’s love lights the right path as a lighthouse guides the ships at sea.

A mother’s love is in all that is pure and innocent, the blue Texas skies, the turquoise warers of Hawaii and the angel that you are now; for I pray that you see my love in all that surrounds you.

Love always and forever
